St. Joy (CFO) ECD Centre, Kisumu
In Kisumu County, the Children First Organization (CFO) runs St. Joy Pre-School Program, which serves several disadvantaged children within Nyalenda Ward—one of the most underserved areas of Kisumu Town. Most of the children enrolled in the program come from families facing significant challenges. As a result, the school offers not only a safe and nurturing environment during the day but also provides a strong foundation in early childhood education. The center is named St. Joy in honor of Joyce Odongo (the Founder) and Joy Dallas (a Board Member)—two women whose unwavering vision for a better world is deeply reflected in the school’s mission.
